Quantum Digital Selected By UK Distributor Metrodome for Live Via Satellite Event to UK Cinemas on 16 September
Quantum Digital, the UK's leader in filming and broadcasting special events live via satellite to digital cinemas, has been selected by major UK independent distributor Metrodome to film and transmit live via satellite a comedy performance by Russell Howard, followed by a special presentation of the film 3 miles North of Molkom, from Cineworld Haymarket, on Wednesday 16 September.
In a groundbreaking first, the movie will also be transmitted via satellite to close to 40 UK cinemas nationwide. Quantum's Marc John said: "We are delighted that Metrodome have chosen us to organise the filming and broadcasting of the live comedy performance, which includes the satellite delivery of the film itself, using our leading edge satellite technologies and proven production team."
In addition to live production and satellite delivery services, Quantum Digital is also responsible for satellite installations and technical support across almost 100 UK cinemas, many of whom will be participating in this special event.
