More2Screen is delighted to announce that from 25 March the Mariinsky’s Giselle in 3D – the world's first 3D ballet - will be screening in cinemas worldwide. The London-based company has already secured cinema distribution across the UK, Germany, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Russia, and Spain, partnering with cinemas Odeon, National Amusements, Showcase, Hoyts Australia, UCI Brazil and Cinemaxx.
A leading distributor to digital cinemas worldwide, More2Screen has an enviable track record in bringing a wide range of alternative content to the cinema screen, from more than 15 live opera and concerts broadcasts to event films, music documentaries and educational features. The company has been responsible for a number of ‘firsts’; including the first-ever live concert broadcast in high-definition with Robbie Williams in 2005, being the first company to distribute opera on the big screen in India and broadcasting the world’s first live 3D opera to cinemas with ENO’S Lucrezia Borgia in February 2011.
