Both Sena and SAMFilm have installed the Rosettabridge Theatre Management System (TMS) developed by Unique Digital Ltd as an integral part of their conversion to full digital cinema in their respective flag-ship sites in Reykjavik. SAMFilm currently operates a total of 6 cinemas and 19 screens and SENA operates 3 cinemas with 12 screens .
Unique Digital have supplied their RosettaBridge TMS to each site providing management and staff from both Exhibitors with an unrivalled suite of tools to manage feature film and advertising content within each location through an intuitive and easy to use interface. Key features include a scalable library server, agnostic player and projector interface, automation control and content distribution with all elements being managed using a simple drag and drop GUI.
UK integrator Sound Associates was responsible for supplying and installing a full digital cinema package including Barco projectors, Dolby servers and QSC audio processors in each multiplex and the RosettaBridge TMS is used to control all the day-to-day operations.

At nearby in Reykjavik competing operator SAMFilm opened the eagerly awaited 4 screen multiplex at Egishollen. Bjorn Arnason, Managing Director commented “From the start we had designed the new cinema to be state-of-the art from box-office to the booth.
