Arts Alliance Media Bolsters Team with Addition of Eric Stevens as Commercial Director

Arts Alliance Media (AAM), the London-based digital cinema company, has announced the appointment of Eric Stevens as the company’s new Commercial Director. Formerly Managing Director of Independent - the UK sales, production and distribution company - Stevens will report to AAM Chief Executive Officer Howard Kiedaisch, and will be tasked with leading AAM’s sales and marketing efforts as the company continues to grow its digital cinema, software, content services and distribution businesses worldwide. He brings over ten years of experience in distribution, sales, marketing, strategy and development to the newly-created role.

At Independent, the company behind recent successes We Need To Talk About Kevin and 2012 Academy Award nominee Hell and Back Again, Stevens was responsible for areas including acquisitions, sales, distribution, digital and corporate strategy and development. Prior to Independent, Eric held positions at companies including Ingenious Media and United International Pictures, and began his career as a management consultant working with FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients around the world. He graduated with distinction from Yale University.

Howard Kiedaisch of AAM commented “With all the opportunity before us at AAM, we felt the time was right to bring Eric on board to help drive our global expansion. Eric comes with extensive experience across all commercial and creative aspects of the industry, which gives him a very well rounded perspective and is going to be invaluable in building AAM’s worldwide business.”

Stevens added “I’m incredibly excited to come to AAM at this great time in the company’s development, and look forward to building on their success in the digital cinema world as they expand into new business areas and territories.”
