Coincidentally, the CineEurope 2012 will take place in Barcelona where GDC Tech will highlight the industry's first Standalone Integrated Media Block (IMB) – the SX-3000, which made its debut at CineAsia, Hong Kong in December 2011, and showcased at CinemaCon in Las Vegas in April 2012. GDC Tech is excited to introduce this feature-rich Standalone IMB to European clients which significantly lowers operation, maintenance and installation costs by eliminating the need for an external file server. The Standalone IMB offers a compelling value proposition as it also allows long distance content streaming and remote access via gigabit Ethernet connection.
