MasterImage 3D Appoints Sean Lohan to Lead Americas Region

Industry Veteran Brings Extensive Experience to Focus on Both the Large and High Growth Markets in the Region

MasterImage 3D, Inc., a global leader in next-generation 3D solutions for cinema and display, today named Sean Lohan, Vice President, Digital Cinema, with responsibility to lead its Americas Region.

In his new position, Lohan will drive all aspects of MasterImage’s 3D cinema business in the substantial North American market and the fast growing South American region, including sales, operations management and international product development responsibilities.  Lohan, who will be based in the company’s Hollywood headquarters, brings more than twenty-five years of industry experience, including senior management positions in exhibition, distribution, and post-production.

Lohan previously served as Director of Operations and Customer Service at Panavision where he was responsible for bringing their 3D system to market.  In that role, he worked with studios, distributors and cinemas worldwide.  Prior to Panavision, Lohan held senior management positions at Laser Pacific Corporation and Kodak’s Digital Cinema Group as part of their efforts to bring digital cinema to the marketplace.  He began his career undertaking a variety of roles at AMC Theaters under the tutelage of the legendary Stan Durwood.
