Kansas City’s glorious and historic cinema exhibition and distribution event will be restored to life, honoring Show A Rama’s rich history while focusing on the industry’s bright future.
Dates: Oct. 15-17th, 2013 as agreed upon by National NATO.
Location: The main event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn convention center located in Independence, Missouri, however other nearby locations will also be used for screenings and some meals.
Pricing: A discount will be given to national NATO and NATO of Kansas and Missouri who register for the full convention.
Charity Event: The final night, the convention will host a Charity fundraiser for Young Variety. This will include a themed, off-site event.
Convention: The convention will entail a 2 day trade show, alternative content demonstrations and discussions, studio presentations, panel seminars, and entertaining and informative events. The convention’s primary focuses will be new technologies, alternative content, and increasing audience attendance, as well as answering questions like: We’ve gone digital; now what? How do small exhibitors make alternative content work? And how does my theatre compete in the marketplace?
The convention will allow NATO members to mingle with other exhibitors, studio executives, new technology providers, and venders in a casual, open convention setting. A full 2-day trade show will be offered. Many of the top venders in the industry will be in attendance. The smaller convention size allows exhibitors plenty of time to hear the details and watch demonstrations of the many products and services at the trade show. History:
