National CineMedia and Kerasotes Showplace Theatres Enter into Affiliate Agreement to Present Pre-Show Advertising, Meetings and Alternative Events in Sixth Largest U.S. Movie Circuit

National CineMedia LLC (NCM), has entered into a network affiliate agreement with Kerasotes ShowPlace Theatres, LLC, the sixth largest movie theatre exhibition company in the U.S., for the presentation of pre-show advertising, comprehensive meetings and event services, and in-theatre entertainment events. Under the terms of the new multi-year agreement, Kerasotes’ 95 theatres and 853 screens in top U.S. markets such as Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis and Minneapolis, will exclusively present NCM’s digitally distributed pre-show program, FirstLook; offer in-theatre corporate meetings and event services through NCM’s CineMeetings; and present NCM FATHOM live and pre-recorded in-theatre entertainment events. The agreement will be effective in early December 2007, with respect to approximately 725 screens and on January 1, 2010, with respect to the remainder of the screens that are operated under the Colorado Cinemas name, primarily in the Denver market. Unique Digital selected to digitise Swedish cinemas for advertising network

Unique Digital Ltd. has won the contract to build and operate the digital screen advertising network for Sweden's SF Media, the largest cinema advertising company in the Nordic region. The deal was announced after an 18-month long evaluation of different digital advertising solution systems and providers, which was aimed at selecting the most advanced technical solution available. Unique's system will replace 35mm advertising in the cinemas that are part of SF Media's country-wide exhibitor partnership, with the entire digital network in operation by early 2007. Unique Digital is installing digital advertising in a total of 426 cinema screens. Together with its other installations across Europe the new deployment will make Unique Digital the world's largest independent digital screen advertising operator. BUG Norway creates world's first 3D digital cinema advert

Norwegian post-production and graphic design/animation studio BUG have created the world's first digital 3D cinema advert, which will première today at the Screen Advertising Word Association (SAWA) seminar 'The Best Ideas Come From Cinema - In 3D'. The highly anticipated event is part of the Cannes Lions, the world's most prestigious advertising event, where the best adverts from around the world are showcased each year. The advert for Mitsubishi's new range of cars was animated and rendered in 3D by BUG, one of Scandinavia's fastest growing and most innovative digital studios and is currently screening in 2D.
