About Movie Theatre Association of Canada:
The Movie Theatre Association of Canada is a national non-profit
association for theatre owners whose purpose is to:
1) maintain a national trade association of motion picture theatre exhibitors,
consisting of owners, operators, executives and managers.
2) to forward and promote the general welfare and prosperity of motion picture
3) to gather, receive and disseminate such information as may seem helpful to
members and associated organizations; to interchange ideas in rendering mutual
assistance and to provide helpful vocational advice and guidance, and in general
to act as a group representing national interests. The Association's head office
is in Toronto, and each province has its own

Christie Boosts Digital Screenings at ShowCanada 2007

An annual convention of theatre owners, ShowCanada is hosting more than 700 delegates from Canada's Motion Picture Theatre Industry, including representatives from the exhibition, distribution and production sectors, as well as Canada’s major theatre circuits and independent owners/operators. The event is being held April 24-27 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
