KELONIK decided to start research and development of a complete range of speakers for cinema sound, in a joint-venture with DAS Audio. Design of KCS was mainly based on quality, with a particular emphasis in obtaining a maximum reliability in terms of endurance and minimum maintenance. From the beginning, KCS was approved by LUCASFILM for THX installations, and became the first European brand for this system. Today KCS provides speakers for conventional cinemas as well as for immersive sound cinema layout such as Dolby ATMOS, Barco AURO 11.1... KCS is a brand belonging to the KELONIK Group.
