Screenvision Portugal contracts Unique Digital for 35mm cinema ad operation
Screenvision Portugal and Unique Digital Ltd. (UD) have signed an agreement to use Unique's back office solution for the distribution of all of its cinema adverts. The deal is the first time that Unique's Accord will be used for a traditional 35mm film print cinema advertising logistics. While Screenvision Portugal do not have any immediate plans to digitise their network of cinema partners, the systems provides full capability to switch over to complete end-to-end digital distribution and exhibition, once cinemas go digital.
