Real Image Media Technologies and Barco Further Strengthen Partnership in India
Real Image Media Technologies (RIMT) has recently entered into a strategic partnership with Barco in India. The first 700 units are scheduled for installation during the first year, with deliveries starting in May 2013. Over the next three years, 3,000 DCI-compliant Barco projectors are expected to be deployed in theaters across India.

Qube Cinema has installed its XP-I server and Xi 4K integrated media block (IMB) in Super Star Power Productions’ new 4K DI suite in Los Angeles. The combination postproduction facility and theater offers a seamless 4K pipeline from review of uncompressed 4K image files taken directly from 4K cameras, through color grading at 4K, to the Qube XP-I server and Xi IMB and projected via Barco's new DP4K-P postproduction projector. Hollywood producers and directors of feature films will now be able to review 4K images, color grade at 4K in real time and generate 4K DCPs for final QC, all from a single 4K projector in a home-like setting.

Qube Cinema Enables Historic Screening of Digitally Restored Oklahoma!
Qube Cinema participated in a landmark screening of the restored and digitally mastered <em>Oklahoma! </em>at the TCM Classic Film Festival on April 10 at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Attendees, including <em>Oklahoma!</em> lead Shirley Jones, were treated to a 4K high frame rate (HFR) premiere of the classic musical projected onto the large screen by a 4K projector containing the Qube 4K Xi integrated media block (IMB) and relying on a high bitrate DCP streamed by the Qube XP-I server.
