Arts Alliance Media Announces Bruce Steinberg to Board of Directors
Arts Alliance Media (AAM), Europe’s leading provider of digital cinema technology, content and deployment, today announced the appointment of Bruce Steinberg to its Board of Directors, as Non-Executive Director, effective immediately.
Mr. Steinberg brings more than 20 years of media industry experience to the AAM Board, having most recently served as CEO of HIT Entertainment Ltd, the company which creates internationally renowned children’s properties including Bob the Builder, Barney, Thomas & Friends, Angelina Ballerina and Pingu and whose activities span television and video production, publishing, consumer products, licensing and live events. Prior to HIT, Mr. Steinberg was the CEO of Fox Kids Europe N.V., General Manager of Broadcasting at BSkyB and the first Chief Executive Officer of UK Gold and UK Living TV from their launch in 1992 to their sale in 1997. He began his career at MTV Networks in New York in 1985 where he held various positions and moved to Europe in 1989 as Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales and New Business Development for MTV Europe.

Mr Steinberg is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Bragster.com, an online community led by Intel; Director of Premier Exhibitions, a provider of museum-quality touring exhibitions such as the Titanic Artifact Tour (Nasdaq PRXI), and a Director of JDRF UK, a charity dedicated to Type 1 Diabetes. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BA (Cantab) from Cambridge University and a BA from Columbia University. Mr Steinberg lives in London with his family.
