Howard Kiedaisch Speaks at Only UK Digital Confab
GlobeScreen today announced that Howard Kiedaisch, CEO of Arts Alliance Media, is to speak at the digital cinema conference. Moderated by Variety’s Steve Clarke, the conference will explore how technology is rapidly changing the way movies are distributed and exhibited. Other panellists include:
- Pierre Proner, Executive Vice President, Merchant Ivory Productions.
- Alex Stolz, Senior Executive, Distribution and Exhibition, UK Film Council
The event takes place at The May Fair Hotel on November 17 from 8-9:30pm, before a specially invited industry audience.
The event sponsors, Naficy Pictures, Winbros and Avitav, are a group of young, upcoming film and media professionals. Dara Naficy, speaking on behalf of the sponsors said: “We saw an opportunity to bring leading industry professionals together to discuss digital entertainment – the future of movie making – and network at a leading media venue”. Commenting on future events, he said “We are looking to develop a string of conferences to tackle big industry topics such as the threat of piracy and the film finance glut”.
