Digital cinema pioneer Barco is pleased to announce the promotions of
Todd Hoddick and Patrick Lee, two key executives who have been highly
instrumental in spearheading the exponential growth of the company’s Digital
Cinema division during the past three years.
Todd Hoddick, who joined Barco in 2008
to lead Barco’s Digital Cinema organization in North America, brings almost 20 years
of experience in the Entertainment industry including his tenure at The Walt
Disney Company and Technicolor plus numerous successful consulting engagements
with Twentieth Century Fox, Sony and others in the industry. Todd has been
tapped to lead Barco’s newly expanded Entertainment Division in North America. In his new role, Hoddick will be responsible
for a portfolio of businesses, including Events, Corporate A/V and Digital
Cinema. “It is with great pleasure that I welcome Todd as the new VP of the Entertainment
Division for North America. Since his arrival at Barco, Todd has been
instrumental in both establishing our Digital Cinema business in North America
and in creating Digital Cinema strategy worldwide,” commented Wim Buyens, VP Entertainment for Barco Worldwide. “I have every confidence that he will
continue to soar in his new role.”
Within the Entertainment Division,
Patrick Lee has been promoted to Vice President of Digital Cinema for Barco
North America. He is well positioned to
lead this business after supporting the business development and growth of Digital
Cinema for the past three years. Ensuring continuity within the business,
Patrick will report directly into Todd Hoddick.
Prior to joining Barco, Patrick held multiple leadership roles within PricewaterhouseCoopers’
Entertainment and Media advisory practice where he consulted for a variety of clients,
including Microsoft and DreamWorks, and where he helped launch a joint venture for
Fox and NBC Universal (Hulu.com). “Patrick
has been an integral part of driving the exponential growth in Digital Cinema
at Barco and I am confident he will take this business to new heights,”
commented Hoddick.
These management changes are effective immediately.
