of choice for India's up market multiplex - Sathyam Cinemas.
Sathyam Cinemas is a 5 screen multiplex in the heart of the Chennai metropolis. Sathyam's multiplex hosts an array of films in Tamil, English, Hindi and, occasionally, other South Indian languages and the multiplex is the country's highest attended theatre.
Two of the screens in Sathyam Cinemas - "Sathyam" and "Sree" have now been equipped digitally with DLP Cinema™ projectors, one of which is
Christie's CP2000 Digital Cinema projector. Both screens have been installed with GDC Technology's flagship product, DSR™ Digital Film Server SA1000. Sathyam Cinemas will be the first commercial cinema in India to screen a Hollywood feature film digitally.

The highly anticipated final installment of Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith will premiere on the digital screens at Sathyam Cinemas on 19th May, followed by the general release from Fri, 20th May.
