Frank Tees Joins Moving Image Technologies as Vice President, Technical Sales Support
MOVING iMAGE TECHNOLOGIES (MiT), a leading manufacturer and integrator of cinema equipment, is pleased to announce that Frank Tees has joined the company as Vice President, Technical SalesSupport. Frank spent the last 15 years with Regal Entertainment Group as Southwest Director of Technical Services. He brings over 20 years of experience in cinema exhibition to help expand the service and support offerings of MiT, very important to MiT's growth as the newly appointed Factory Master Distributor of NEC's digital cinema projectors and their full complement of cinema servers, lobby display and software solutions.
Frank's diverse technology background includes extensive experience in all aspects of digital, 3D and traditional cinema. During the past 10 years, Frank has been trained by the factories of Barco, Sony, Christie and NEC on all aspects of their digital projectors and has in turn trained numerous Regal technicians in installation and service, and managed the installation and servicing of over 1000 35mm and digital screens, including Sony, Barco, Christie and NEC projectors in an integrated and networked environment. Previously he had served in most aspects of cinema exhibition on a field level, as an usher, projectionist, manager and projection and sound technician. “We are pleased to have Frank join our team of cinema industry veterans, especially as we ramp up our NEC involvement as their newly appointed Factory Master Distributor. His wide range of experience and technical leadership will strengthen our support and service of NEC product offerings, as well as all our other customers”, says Executive VP, Sales and Marketing, Joe Delgado.
