200 Theatres in the Russian Innovative Digital Delivery System for Distributing Content to the Theatres
DCP24 Laboratory, the first company on the Russian and CIS digital delivery market, is announcing about the 200th theatre connected to the System of Digital Delivery.
The Laboratory worked out the innovative Delivery method for distributing digital content to the theatres through the Internet in July, 2011 - DCP24 Digital Delivery System. The first digitally delivered film was “Captain America: The first Averger”.
Nowadays the total number of theatres in the System of Digital Delivery is increased up to 200 that is 24,5% of all the digital theatres in Russia. During the period from 25-th of July, 2011 to 26-th of June, 2012 there have been delivered more than 55 Russian and foreign films.
According to the continuous growth of the number of digital theatres in Russia and CIS the DCP24 Digital Delivery System presents great opportunities for distributors and theatres.
