Doremi Cinema LLC. Secures 200 Unit Digital Cinema Server Order from Christie Digital Systems, Inc.
Doremi Cinema LLC is pleased to announce that
Christie Digital Systems, Inc. has ordered 200 Doremi DCP-2000 digital cinema
servers. Doremi's cinema server will be part of a DCI-Compliant digital cinema
system featuring Christie DLP Cinema® projectors and related hardware and
software including Access Integrated Technologies' (AccessIT) (AMEX: AIX)
Theater Command Center. The system will be deployed by Christie/AIX, a unit of
AccessIT. Installation of 150 systems throughout the USA is anticipated by
December 31, 2005.
The DCP-2000 cinema server from Doremi Cinema is the first commercially
available server capable of playing DCI-JPEG2000 digital movies at up to
250Mbits/sec. The DCP-2000 features 800GBytes of RAID5 storage in a 3RU chassis
with redundant power supplies.
