GDC Technology Announces the Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer
DC Technology, the leading provider of digital cinema solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kent Chiu as GDC Technology’s new chief financial officer (CFO) with effect from June 1st, 2006. Kent is a chartered accountant who began his career with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Hong Kong, where he advised on numerous financial projects of listed and multinational companies.
“I am excited to join GDC Technology and look forward to helping the company in its next stage of growth”, says Mr. Kent Chiu, CFO of GDC Technology, " I believe GDC Technology is positioned to build on its D-Cinema successes and further leverage its imaging technologies as well as other products and software platform solutions.” Mr. Kent Chiu earned a Degree of Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours, First Class, in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
GDC Technology has generated revenues of more than USD10mil since the launch of its line of cinema servers and mastering systems 4 years ago. Today, GDC Technology’s DSR™ server is installed in more cinema theatres than any other servers worldwide. GDC Technology’s servers and mastering systems have been installed in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
