Germanys First Ever Installation of a DCI JPEG 2000 Digital Cinema Mastering Facility
Bewegte Bilder Digital Cinema, a branch of Bewegte Bilder Medien AG, has installed Germany's first JPEG-2000 D-Cinema Mastering facility. Bewegte Bilder selected Doremi Cinema's DMS-2000 mastering station to create the D-Cinema digital movie file. Doremi Cinema is the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of DCI/JPEG-2000 encoders and image servers.
Bewegte Bilder provides transfer and colour correction of digital intermediate and encoding / mastering of DCI compliant JPEG-2000 in 2k and 4k resolution. Bewegte Bilder can also provide MPEG2/MXF Interop encoding.
Bewegte Bilder's purchase of Doremi Cinemas DMS-2000 mastering station plus two DCP-2000 JPEG-2000/MPEG2 image servers, is the first step for Doremi Cinema into Germany's growing digital cinema market.
Doremi's European Manager Patrick Zucchetta said: "It is a great pleasure to supply our DCI Digital Cinema Servers and Mastering Station to Bewegte Bilder and open the German market with DCI compliant facilities."
