Barco Hires New Vice President of Sales for its US Digital Cinema Division
Scott Freidberg joins Barco as the new Vice President of Sales for the company’s US Digital Cinema division, bringing with him nearly 10 years of sales, marketing and operational expertise in the cinema projection industry.
Freidberg comes to Barco from Christie Digital Systems, Inc. and possesses an excellent understanding of the cinema market’s requirements. While Director of Sales for Christie Digital, Inc., Freidberg developed and implemented sales strategies for multiple cinema-product portfolios and cultivated a thorough client roster. Sales revenue increased over 50% during his tenure.
Freidberg will oversee sales and new business development operations in North America for Barco’s Digital Cinema product lines in top-tier exhibition, studio, post-production, 3-D, and alternative content markets; and will establish and maintain policies and programs to maximize sales with an optimum return on investment.
Freidberg received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and resides in San Diego, California.
