Weiss Joins AccessIT as Vice President of Acquisition and Distribution as New Office in Sherman Oaks Opens

Sets Goal to Double Programming Channels From Four to Eight in 2007 as Digital Cinema Company Builds Out Management Team

Access Integrated Technologies, Inc. ("AccessIT") (NASDAQ:AIXD) brings top industry talent to its recently acquired Bigger Picture Division. The expansion coincides with the opening of a new distribution office in Sherman Oaks, and the release of The Bigger Picture’s fifth Fox Faith movie, “The Ultimate Gift,” on over 800 screens this Friday, March 9th.

Bob Weiss, a 30-year industry veteran and distribution executive formerly of Paramount Pictures, joins as vice president of Acquisition and Distribution. His team of sales executives includes Royce Brimage, a distribution executive with 40 years of experience with Paramount, who will operate out of a Dallas-based office, Steve Booth, who has served in various finance and business development positions at studios including Disney, Universal and Paramount, and David Johnson, who has been in film distribution for 20 years with Fox and MGM. Joining the group as Exhibitor Relations is Nikki Lee, who has been in exhibition for 10 years, most recently in the marketing group at Rave Motion Pictures.

Greg Rutkowski, co-president of The Bigger Picture, notes “This is a seasoned group of executives who will enhance our ability to work in partnership with exhibition to digitally deliver an increasing number of programs of alternative content, providing audiences around the country with new choices in theatrical entertainment.”

The Bigger Picture acquires and theatrically distributes a number of alternative programs, including Kidtoon Films, a G-rated weekend matinee program which has featured such kid favorites as Scooby Doo in “Where’s My Mummy?”, “Arthur’s Missing Pal”, and My Little Pony in “A Very Pony Place.” Other programs include anime such as “Dragonball Z” and “Fullmetal Alchemist”, Fox Faith which provides faith-based movies and Fox Rhythm with entertainment targeting African American women. At least 4 new programs of entertainment will be launched by The Bigger Picture in 2007.

AccessIT Digital Cinema is the platform upon which the company is providing alternative content from The Bigger Picture. To date, the company’s deployment program has completed installation of more than 2,100 digital cinema systems which support the DCI specification. Its unique Library Management Server® and Theatre Command Center® software have supported the playout of more than 1 million digital show times at it’s exhibition partners, including: Celebration Cinema’s Loeks Theatres, Cinema West, Cinetopia, Emagine, UltraStar, Galaxy, Rave, Carmike Cinemas and AccessIT’s own Pavilion Digital Showcase Cinema.
