Sony’s CineAlta 4K™ digital projector provides the ultimate movie viewing experience
Deployment by all major cinema complexes in Singapore for commercial trial
With the launch of its CineAlta 4K™ digital projector, Sony – the leader in High Definition (HD) broadcast and professional equipment - has just significantly enhanced Singapore movie theatre fans’ cinematic experience. Sony’s CineAlta 4K™ digital projector is built on Sony’s unique Silicon X-tal Reflective Display (SXRD™) technology.
This is great news for movie theatre owners and managers who can now amaze their patrons by turning an ordinary movie-watching experience into the ultimate viewing experience.
Sony’s CineAlta 4K™ digital projector’s 4K resolution derives from its 4096 x 2160 pixel matrix, approximately 8.8 million pixels, which is more than four times the pixels of the best HDTV specifications (1920 x 1080). Designed to conform with the DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives) specification requirements, Sony’s CineAlta 4K™ digital projector offers uncompromising picture performance and functionality – a landmark for next generation movie viewing.
