Industry Vet John Wolski Joins Deluxe Digital Cinema

Deluxe Digital Cinema, a unit of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc., has announced that John Wolski has joined as its new Vice President of Exhibitor Services. Wolski will be leading Deluxe's relationship management with the exhibition community, helping to build a national satellite network, and representing Deluxe at major industry events and standards bodies.

Deluxe Digital Cinema, part of the Deluxe Digital Media family of services for the U.S. post production and digital market, is world's leading provider of digital cinema prints.

Steve Bergman, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Deluxe Digital Media said, "We are extremely fortunate to have John Wolski joining our team. John's technical and operational expertise will add enormous credibility to our efforts."

Prior to joining Deluxe, Wolski was Vice President of Strong Digital Systems for Ballantyne of Omaha, a manufacturer of motion picture projection and specialty lighting equipment. Prior to Ballantyne, he was Vice President of Projection and Sound at Loews Cineplex Entertainment, the operator of 2,100 movie screens in approximately 200 theatres worldwide that included 25 D-Cinema locations in the U.S. Other theatrical exhibition experience includes management positions at Cineplex Odeon Corp. and Plitt Theatres, Inc.

Wolski served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) from 1999-2006, was on the Technology Committee from 1998-2006, and the Digital Task Force Chairman from 2002-2006. He currently is the Chairman of the DC28.30, Theatre Exhibition Committee for the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers. He is also a member of the Inter-Society Committee for Enhancement of Theatrical Presentation and the International Cinema Technology Association.
