Texas Instruments DLP Cinema™ Technology Featured Prominently at ShoWest 2004
Theatrical exhibitors to receive industry update and enjoy latest in digital cinema projection technology
Texas Instruments (TI) (NYSE: TXN) today announced it will for the third
consecutive year serve as the corporate sponsor of ShoWest, the largest annual
convention for the motion picture industry, taking place Mar. 22 - 25 in Las
Vegas, NV. TI DLP Cinema™ technology will feature prominently at ShoWest 2004:
in addition to a screening of Miramax’s “Ella Enchanted” with DLP Cinema™
projection technology, TI will present a special DreamWorks presentation on
digital creation to distribution, present the 2003 $100 million dollar movie
montage, and DLP Cinema™ technology will be used for the Sony presentation of
the Spiderman 2 trailer event.
DLP Cinema™ technology is deployed in more than 200 theatres worldwide through
manufacturer partners BARCO, Christie and NEC Viewtechnology/ Digital Projection

Discussion and clips of upcoming releases using a Barco 2K DLP Cinema™
