With its precision spectrometer, the PCA digitizes the incoming light to extract the primary colors and generate chromaticity values. These values are processed to generate a chromaticity and luminance display on your laptop. In addition, the PCA has a built-in optical viewfinder which makes the selection of a specific area of the screen easy and accurate to within a one degree spot. This high quality instrument has a resolution range which allows measurement of the projector contrast ratio and is capable of checking the projector’s ”X” and “Y” linearity.
