Chinese film group Huayi Brothers has premiered its latest production “Tangshan Earthquake” in Tangshan using Barco's ultra-bright DP2K-32B digital cinema projectors. With a width of almost 33 meters, the screen used for this screening was 10 meters wider than an IMAX screen, making it the largest screen in the world. To achieve optimum visual effects, two Barco DP2K-32B 'Series II' digital projectors were used. Because of its record brightness, this projector model was the only product capable of fully reflecting the devastation caused by the earthquake 34 years ago.
