GetD (Future 3D Tech Group), the leading Chinese manufacturer and supplier
of 3D smart cinema solutions, today announced Bernard Collard has joined GetD
as new Senior Vice President. In his new role, Mr. Collard will be responsible
for driving sales and developing marketing strategies that will help GetD to
conquer new markets shares and deliver added value to GetD customers.
His
preferred covered areas will be EMEA, Russia and CIS Territories. He will be
building upon the company’s expertise in 3D cinema technology and his solid
connections in many territories; he will focus on creating new business
opportunities and nurturing business partnerships.
With almost 20 years of
experience in the cinema industry, Mr. Collard brings an insightful global
perspective to GetD that will greatly aid the expansion of the company’s business
ecosystem. His leadership will play a key role in driving forward company
strategy, and realizing GetD’s ambitions for future growth. “Having known Peter

Prior to joining GetD, Mr. Collard served as SVP Sales & Business
Development for XPAND Cinema Products – a global leader that provides 3D
solutions in various markets. While at XPAND, Bernard was also responsible for
consolidating dealership network in North America and related cinema services
organization together with XPAND team based in Portland. Mr. Collard is also on the EU Board of the
International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA).
Collard is a 20-year veteran of the digital
cinema industry and earlier in his career, he was Int’l Marketing and Sales Manager
at EVS Digital Cinema before becoming General Manager at XDC, now dcinex/Ymagis
Group, today the leading Pan-European provider of fully integrated and best in
class solutions for movie operations.
