“Christie has remained steadfast in advancing cinema technology and supporting exhibitors for the long term,” said Han Kim, vice president of sales, Asia-Pacific, Christie. “Our role at CineAsia 2025 underscores that commitment, with innovations that include new projection technologies and an expanded CineLife+ Series lineup—delivering the perfect balance of high performance and operational efficiency to help theatres captivate audiences for years to come.”
A centerpiece of Christie’s participation at CineAsia 2025 is the global launch of two RGBH cinema projectors featuring hybrid RGB laser illumination and a 0.98” 4K SST chip. These next-generation systems deliver vibrant, high-contrast visuals optimized for small-to-medium-sized auditoriums. Attendees can experience a live demo of the CP4420m-RGBH, a 20,000-lumen high-performance projector paired with the
CineLife+ IMB-S4 integrated media block, highlighting Christie’s commitment to expanding projection choices for exhibitors seeking cutting-edge performance.
Christie’s showcase at MR1 will present an impressive lineup of projection solutions engineered for theatres of every size. The
CP4455-RGB and
CP4435-RGB pure laser projectors are designed for premium large-format (PLF) auditoriums, leveraging
Real|Laser™ illumination and ultra-fast Series 4 processing to deliver exceptional color gamut, contrast, and over 50,000 hours of stable DCI brightness. Both models are compatible with
Christie Mystique™ Cinema, enabling automated blending, focus, and color calibration for seamless dual-projection setups.
The
CP2415-RGB offers robust performance for mainstream theatres with long-lasting laser illumination for consistent image quality. For boutique cinemas, the
CP2409-RBe stands out with its compact design, Phazer™ illumination, and CineLife+2K™ electronics platform. It features auto-configuration, motorized lens control, and electronic color convergence for precise alignment, while delivering 236% greater efficiency than Xenon models and reducing energy costs by up to 70%.
Rounding out the lineup is the
CP4420-Xe, a DCI-compliant 4K projector delivering 22,000 lumens of brightness and equipped with CineLife+ electronics. It offers smooth playback at up to 120fps and features extended lamp life with Xenolite® Ultimate Performance lamps, ensuring consistent reliability and lower operating costs.
Beyond its technology showcase, Christie will present the Exhibition Pioneer of the Year Award to
Emperor Cinemas Group, recognizing its commitment to elevating the moviegoing experience in Mainland China and Hong Kong. The group’s
flagship multiplex at Taikoo Li Sanlitun in Beijing—driven by Christie CineLife+ Series projectors—demonstrates how innovation and creativity can transform cinemas into cultural destinations.
