HDR by Barco Expands Global Footprint to Germany
Barco, the global leader in laser-powered cinema, today announced the expansion of its premium HDR by Barco format in Germany, launching this November with installations at select Cineplex Germany locations, and in Cinedom Cologne. This expansion marks a major footprint in European moviegoing, as Cineplex is a leading German exhibitor, and Cinedom Cologne is one of the country’s largest cinemas.

Barco Unveils HDR by Barco Slate through 2025 and U.S. Expansion Plans
Barco, the global leader in laser cinema, announced today the HDR by Barco slate through the end of 2025 alongside U.S. rollout plans that will rapidly increase the domestic footprint of the groundbreaking technology. Regal Cinemas, one of the initial exhibition circuits for Barco’s HDR format, is driving the expansion with a commitment for 20 domestic RPX screens by the end of 2025. Moviegoers can also expect additional HDR locations from Texas-based Alamo Drafthouse, which will bring the total number of HDR by Barco enabled theaters to over 30 by the end of 2025.
