The Lochmann Filmtheaterbetriebe prides itself on being a pioneer in adopting the latest modern technologies and innovations in cinematic experiences in Germany and the opening of this new IMAX cinema in Leonberg, which will be the biggest IMAX screen ever built in the world, is a testament to their commitment to excellence and quality. Lochmann Filmtheaterbetriebe has received notable awards in the past for having the most modern technology in the European Union.
The Lochmann Filmtheaterbetriebe are based in Rudersberg and consist of the Traumpalast-cinemas in Schorndorf, Waiblingen, Backnang, Leonberg, Esslingen, Nürtingen and Biberach and the Löwenlichtspiele Rudersberg. Also part of the company is the Passage Kino in Hamburg and since May 2018 the Turm Theater in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Altogether the theatres own 65 screens, more than 10,000 seats and employ 450 contributors who make sure all guests are provided with the best service.
