Research Center for Digital Media and Content
The Research Institute for Digital Media and Content (DMC) was established in July 2004 by Keio University to promote the creation and distribution of digital content through research and development and global partnerships.
The digital cinema project is at the core of its activities. DMC has digital cinema evaluation systems with two Sony 4k projectors and network environments. Keio University was founded in 1858 and is the oldest private university in Japan. The DMC is funded with a grant from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
