We have recently upgraded our login system.  An account is not required, but necessary to set your preferences and edit company information.  If you have previously registered, you can log in again using the same email address and password.  You can reset your password by following the "forgot password?" link on the login page.

  • You can now log in using your external account from GoogleTwitter or LinkedIn.  More services may be added. Feedback is requested to support@DCinemaToday.com. You may still need to add (and confirm) your email address if its not provided by the external login provider.
  • When logged in, you can access your Account Manage page by clicking on your email address under the DCinemaToday logo. 
  • A login account allows you to request edit permissions for your company listing.  This permission is granted on a request basis to authorized employees and business principals.  More information on requesting to updating company information is available on the Account Manage page.  Once authorized, the companies you can update will be listed in the Authorizations section of your Account Manage page. 
  • A login account allows you to set the order of the Market Focus tabs on the DCinemaToday Home page.  You can set any tab as your default starting tab. To do this, go to the Tab Preferences section of the Account Manage page   (Desktop only - not yet ready for the Mobile App.)   More user-specific features are under development, so we recommend you log in when possible.

National Amusements chooses GDC Technology’s VPF program and Barco projection

GDC Technology Limited ("GDC Technology"), a world leading digital cinema solutions provider, and global digital cinema market leader Barco, are pleased to announce they have been selected by National Amusements, a privately owned media and entertainment company based in the United States, to digitize more than 240 screens distributed across 26 of its complexes throughout Brazil and Argentina. 

Under the working arrangement, Xenon Servicios and Kelonik do Brasil will roll-out the installation and integration of Barco DLP Cinema® projectors with GDC Technology’s SX-3000 Standalone IMB®.
 
Founded in 1936, National Amusements currently operates more than 900 movie screens worldwide under its Showcase Cinemas, Showcase Cinema de Lux, Showcase SuperLux, Multiplex Cinemas, and UCI Cinemas brands. “GDC Technology’s VPF program offers higher flexibility, lower upfront costs, and a solution that was customized to our needs,” said John Bilsborough, SVP, Operations of National Amusements. “Ultimately, our conversion to digital is made much easier with their expertise in managing the VPF agreements.”
