We have recently upgraded our login system.  An account is not required, but necessary to set your preferences and edit company information.  If you have previously registered, you can log in again using the same email address and password.  You can reset your password by following the "forgot password?" link on the login page.

  • You can now log in using your external account from GoogleTwitter or LinkedIn.  More services may be added. Feedback is requested to support@DCinemaToday.com. You may still need to add (and confirm) your email address if its not provided by the external login provider.
  • When logged in, you can access your Account Manage page by clicking on your email address under the DCinemaToday logo. 
  • A login account allows you to request edit permissions for your company listing.  This permission is granted on a request basis to authorized employees and business principals.  More information on requesting to updating company information is available on the Account Manage page.  Once authorized, the companies you can update will be listed in the Authorizations section of your Account Manage page. 
  • A login account allows you to set the order of the Market Focus tabs on the DCinemaToday Home page.  You can set any tab as your default starting tab. To do this, go to the Tab Preferences section of the Account Manage page   (Desktop only - not yet ready for the Mobile App.)   More user-specific features are under development, so we recommend you log in when possible.

Technomedia Solutions Solidifies Digital Cinema Division

Technomedia, Internationally Positioned Media and Technologies Entertainment Company, has advanced their client services to the Cinema industry. The company restructured its Cinema Technologies Group and has launched TMS Digital Cinema, LLC.  As part of the initiative, Technomedia Solutions, LLC (TMS) today announced it has acquired the privately held VRT Enterprises, Inc. based in Miami, Florida. VRT has been a provider of digital cinema engineering services and product development to the emerging digital cinema market for years.  Ray Callahan, industry leader and founder of VRT, will take the position of Senior Vice President of Digital Cinema Operations & Technologies under Joni Snyder, Vice President and CFO of Technomedia Solutions, LLC.
 
The vast combined Digital and 3D Cinema experience of VRT and the Technomedia team are well known in the industry for the highest quality engineering services and professionalism. This latest move puts Technomedia in a strong position for development in this industry.
 
John Miceli, President of TMS Digital Cinema and parent company, Technomedia Solutions, states, “with Ray’s extensive 25+ years of experience in engineering services and product development for the cinema industry, he is a world-class addition to the outstanding TMS team.”  This acquisition will enhance TMS’s ability to reach the market and deliver the level of service TMS is dedicated to achieve. The Technomedia operation will give TMS Digital Cinema the vast resources needed to execute large roll-outs of Digital and 3D projection upgrades along with the most advanced audio and exhibit based experiences available in the industry. The company’s scope includes industry-leading design, systems integration, installation, field service, and network monitoring operations as well as a complete offering of Alternate Use Packages to help advance the multi purpose opportunities for these new digitally equipped theaters.
 
Lance Jones, industry veteran in Marketing Cinema services will lead the sales efforts for TMS Digital Cinema as the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Sales.  Lance joined Technomedia in 2008 after serving as Senior Vice President of Klipsch Audio Technologies for 12+ years, a leading manufacturer of premium audio solutions for the cinema industry.  Since his time with Technomedia, Lance’s knowledgebase has grown impressively on the visual side of technology which is a very prominent part of their business.
