the movie-going experience for theatre audiences by distributing 100% True High
Definition digital advertising and advertainment before the feature film begins
at theatre chains across North America. Movie theatre owners and operators now
have an alternative to 1960’s era slide shows, rolling stock, and lower
resolution advertising that is common today.
Big Screen Digital has developed technology for a state-of-the-art national
Digital Theatre Network™ (DTN) to deliver 100% True High Definition digital
video content with Dolby 5.1 audio for the over 400 nationwide theatre chains in
North America. Both in-theatre and in-lobby marketing opportunities will be
offered to advertisers. Big Screen Digital’s DTN will be the first and only 100%
True High Definition delivery system for theatres modeled after a broadcast
environment.
