We have recently upgraded our login system.  An account is not required, but necessary to set your preferences and edit company information.  If you have previously registered, you can log in again using the same email address and password.  You can reset your password by following the "forgot password?" link on the login page.

  • You can now log in using your external account from GoogleTwitter or LinkedIn.  More services may be added. Feedback is requested to support@DCinemaToday.com. You may still need to add (and confirm) your email address if its not provided by the external login provider.
  • When logged in, you can access your Account Manage page by clicking on your email address under the DCinemaToday logo. 
  • A login account allows you to request edit permissions for your company listing.  This permission is granted on a request basis to authorized employees and business principals.  More information on requesting to updating company information is available on the Account Manage page.  Once authorized, the companies you can update will be listed in the Authorizations section of your Account Manage page. 
  • A login account allows you to set the order of the Market Focus tabs on the DCinemaToday Home page.  You can set any tab as your default starting tab. To do this, go to the Tab Preferences section of the Account Manage page   (Desktop only - not yet ready for the Mobile App.)   More user-specific features are under development, so we recommend you log in when possible.

Doremi Brings Leadership and Expertise to South America with its Digital Cinema Technology Summit in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Doremi Cinema, the market leader in digital cinema server technologies announced today that it will host a sponsored cinema technology summit to support the current wave of change in digital entertainment that is underway in South America. The two-day event will be held at the WTC Convention Center at the Sheraton Hotel in São Paulo, Brazil, March 6-7, 2012. In addition to advanced technology presentations by Doremi, other industry leaders including Barco, XpanD 3D, Cinevise, Harman and Telem will share their unique experiences and demonstrations.
 
“We have an exciting line-up of engaging sessions and presentations hosted by leaders driving innovation in cinema technology. The agenda has been designed to address the array of opportunities theater operators face today.  We will demonstrate Higher Frame Rate 3D and Barco’s Auro 3D Audio, as well as sharing solutions that we are successfully applying in other parts of the world to meet the exhibitors needs,” said Michael Archer, Vice President Digital Cinema, Doremi. “Our intention is to address a broader interest in the Latin American market for the implementation of the latest technologies and future-proof solutions that bring the best experience to the audience.”
 
The first of the two-day event will include presentations by Doremi, Barco, XpanD, Cinevise, Harman, Telem and demonstrations of HFR 3D and Auro 3D audio.  Doremi will provide technical presentations for Screen Management Systems (SMS), Theater Management Systems (TMS) and its Integrated Media Block (IMB) and explain the benefits of its comprehensive solution set. Day two will be dedicated to a more in-depth, technical look inside the Doremi solution set SMS troubleshooting, maintenance and language packs installation; Integrated Media Block (IMB) installation, IMB/projector marriage and troubleshooting. Also covered will be transition planning, conversion procedures, operational considerations and troubleshooting for its Theater Management System and StreamIt solutions.
