"The successful playback on our newest DCP2000 of the DCI compliant DCP is a major step into the delivery to market of Hollywood approved Digital Cinema Servers and we are very proud to be first manufacturer to show such a JPEG2000 DCP compliant digital cinema server at next Cine Expo Amsterdam. Now theatre networks can start to install compliant delivery solutions that will not become obsolete sometimes next year.” commented Patrick ZUCCHETTA, Head of European Business Development at Doremi Technologies.
The development process was a collaborative effort of Doremi Labs, Burbank and Doremi Technologies, Sophia-Antipolis involving technologies developed at both locations. Doremi Technologies recently expanded its European headquarter operation with a new building located at the heart of Sophia-Antipolis high tech Park, located 15mn from Cannes city, well known in the film industry.
