Harkness Screens, the world’s leading manufacturer of cinema screens has announced expansion of its global operations into India. The investment has seen local distribution facilities opened immediately in Bangalore with a full manufacturing plant scheduled to open by mid-2013.
The new facility will allow Harkness Screens to provide its industry leading brands such as SpectralTM and Perlux® Digital with shorter lead times to better serve local demand in India and across the continent. Aligned to this, local customers will also benefit from lower shipping costs from factory to final location.

As part of this expansion, Harkness Screens is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Sriram Sistla as Director of Sales for India. Mr Sistla joins Harkness Screens having spent 18 years working within the cinema industry for companies including Cinerama, MRH Digital Systems and Harman International.
