DepthQ 3D Tops 350 Digital Cinema Installations in First Year

One year ago, at Cinemacon 2011, Lightspeed Design, Inc. debuted the DepthQ® Polarization Modulator for 3D Digital Cinema (LC-Tec Displays AB U.S. Patent No. 8023052 B1). Now known simply as DepthQ® 3D, Lightspeed’s modulator is currently deployed in 364 cinemas around the world with over 50 orders waiting to be filled. Locations include Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Michigan and California in the US as well as India, Dubai, Germany, Israel, Australia, UK, Turkey, China, the Czech Republic and the Philippines. Come see us this year at Cinemacon 2012, Booth 2609.

Here’s what customers have to say:

Chris Knighten, Fairchild Cinemas - Washington

“I highly recommend Lightspeed Design’s DepthQ 3D cinema system.  We have 8 DepthQ 3D systems installed and have great results with the operation of the unit and 3D presentation it produces.  The quality of the product is one that will be durable and last. I have had the privilege of seeing the DepthQ 3D unit evolve into what it is today.  I am mostly impressed with the 3D presentation quality it produces.  I have installed and tested many different 3D systems and will always recommend DepthQ as a first choice.

Lightspeed Design has shown outstanding customer support and has always stood behind their product.  I always receive a response and/or resolution in a timely manner.  They have never let me down.”

Destiny Theatres - Oregon

“We had been holding back on installing 3D systems until we found DepthQ. The DepthQ 3D system provides the features we needed: easy installation and operation, an out-right system purchase without long-term licensing and without the use of expensive glasses which need to be sanitized.

Our positive experience started with the folks at Lightspeed Design and their prompt response to sales inquiries and orders. We look forward to many years of service from our DepthQ equipment and the relationship with Lightspeed.”

FTT - Germany

“We are very happy to have found DepthQ 3D, a product that bridges the gaps between the already existing 3D cinema solutions and the demands of various customers. The product is characterized by excellent support and a very attractive price.”

Leonis Cinema – China

“DepthQ 3D has great light transmittance and is ghost free. The installation and maintenance work is very easy. It can also be connected with our TMS system to automatically switch between 2D and 3D model."
