The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Founded in 1978 by Eastman Kodak VP Ken Mason, membership is composed of its four charter trade organizations - International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) - along with over 40 member companies, made up of trade organizations, motion picture studios, exhibition companies, manufacturers, technical consultants, and other industry stakeholders.

CineAsia 2022 has been scheduled for Dec 5-8, 2022 in Bangkok.  Check links for more information.  The CineAsia trade show is where cinema exhibition and distribution professional come to do business and network. Big Cine Expo and CTC Announce Partnership for Leading Cinema Convention in India

CTC; the global cinema technology network and Network208 have announced a partnership to support to Asia’s leading cinema exhibition industry event, Big Cine Expo 2018 (28-29 August 2018).

“India is one of the world’s fastest emerging economies, with the entertainment sector playing a dominant role,” says Mr Raghav, Director of Big Cine Expo. “The Indian cinema industry is second only to Hollywood in size, with South India being the top market with the highest number of cinema screens and movie releases. In 2017, India produced over 1,200+ movies, the highest number in the world and because of this growth, we believe this edition of Big Cine Expo will prove our most popular to date,” he adds.

Launched three years ago to great success, Big Cine Expo will return in 2018 at a new location at the Sahara Star in Mumbai, India. Big Cine Expo is the only cinema exhibition convention and trade show specifically for the burgeoning cinema exhibition market in Asia and India.

Mr Raghav, Director of Big Cine Expo explains that, “Due to the fast growth of the India Cinema Exhibition market, there is a huge appetite for technical know-how and equipment. We’re delighted to be bringing the support, knowledge and expertise of one of the leading international associations in CTC to our exhibition to help provide the resources exhibitors in India need.
