Cinionic Delivers Financial Flexibility with New Vendor-Financing Program

Introducing Laser Now, helping cinemas get laser today for less
Cinionic, the Barco, CGS, and ALPD cinema joint venture, announces Laser Now, a new initiative making the transition to laser possible for more theaters than ever before. Following Cinionic’s recent expansion of its laser portfolio, the vendor-financed program allows theatres to move to laser for significantly less today and pay the rest over time. The bold, new initiative exemplifies Cinionic’s on-going commitment to exhibition by partnering directly with cinemas to offer a simple, transparent and flexible path to upgrade cinema experiences through the power of industry-leading laser projection.

As cinema continues to face the on-going impacts of COVID-19, theaters search for strategic paths to continue meeting audiences’ demand for exceptional, differentiated entertainment moments. Laser Now offers exhibitors the ability to harness state-of-the-art laser technology now, to provide unforgettable experiences for the long-term.

“We stand together with exhibition, facing the challenges in front of us with the knowledge that we must be ready for the future,” said Wim Buyens, CEO, Cinionic. “Laser Now financing is the embodiment of Cinionic’s promise to deliver financial flexibility, providing a route to future-proof solutions even in challenging times. Now laser projection from Cinionic for every screen can be a reality for every theater.”

As moviegoers return to cinemas, where it is safe to do so, Laser Now enables exhibition to offer the highest visual standard, powered by an award-winning portfolio of Barco Laser projectors. Cinionic’s laser solutions offer superb film presentation, including brighter, high-quality images, guaranteed to wow audiences. When combined with reduced maintenance, elimination of lamp costs and waste, decreased operational expenditure, lower carbon footprint, and electricity-savings, laser projection helps exhibitors save now while safeguarding their future.

Laser Now is available to eligible exhibitors around the world. The three-step application process takes less than three weeks from start to finish and is offered on the entire Barco Laser cinema projection portfolio. Unlike traditional leasing or rental programs, Laser Now also includes a tailored solutions consultation to help cinemas find the perfect laser match for their needs and design an optimal payment schedule – with three, four, and five-year terms offered.
