CES+ CEO, Alex Younger, Has Been Appointed as an ICTA Board Member

lex Younger, CEO of CES+, an industry leader which provides comprehensive services for the cinema exhibitors, was appointed board member at ICTA (International Cinema Technology Association).
The ICTA has been a global network of professionals in the motion picture industry for nearly 50 years and always welcomes all countries, manufacturers and cinemas to its events. The ICTA has made available all of its content from the past 2 years, from how to design cinemas, to sustainable cinema and interviews with prominent industry figures to help everyone during this global catastrophe.
The Association has also moved to a unique, inclusive online platform for the cinema industry to rally around and share information, ideas, challenges and success stories.
“To say I am excited to join the board of ICTA is an understatement. CES+ and myself will contribute as much as we can to the ICTA in order to help awareness and help the cinema industry recover from Covid. I look forward to helping the current team at ICTA for the foreseeable future”, said Alex Younger at his first ICTA’s Annual Convention as a Board Member.
The 2021 Annual Business Convention takes place in Nashville, TN, in the majestic Hermitage Hotel, a century-old Beaux-Arts style luxury hotel situated in the heart of downtown Nashville.

ICTA Announcement of 2022 EMEA Award Winners
The International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA) today announced the 2022 winners of the ICTA EMEA Awards, celebrating technological leadership, design and innovation in the cinema exhibition sector. The award winners are Le Grand Rex, Paris (Classic Cinema of the Year), UGC Ciné Cité Part-Dieu, Lyon (New Build Cinema of the Year) and Cineworld, Belfast (Best Cinema Refurbishment of the Year). Rolv Gjestland of Film & Kino Norway will be presented with a special recognition award to celebrate his contributions to cinema design, presentation excellence and international collaboration in cinema.
