MetaMedia, the world’s first global entertainment platform that delivers movies, premium content and live events to theaters, today announced its partnership with PurposePoint, a purpose-driven leadership and organizational development company, to deliver the group’s interactive leadership film to hundreds of theaters across the United States and Canada this fall.
“MetaMedia is proud to partner with PurposePoint to demonstrate how our distribution platform—the next generation of digital cinema technologies—can deliver interactive film experiences that empower cinemas and other out of home venues to transform into entertainment, cultural and educational hubs,” said MetaMedia founder and chief executive officer Jason Brenek. “We firmly believe that executives, entrepreneurs and employers around the world will all benefit from this experience.”
The Purpose Summit Experience™, which is based on a three-day leadership summit held at The University of Notre Dame presented by PurposePoint, provides insight and inspiration from thought and business leaders. The film features keynote talks and guidance from sought-after speakers ranging from New York Times best-selling author Chester Elton and performance coach Dr. Amber Selking, to global leaders such as Garry Ridge, Chaiman & CEO of the WD40 Company, and Jason Lippert, Chief Executive Officer of the multibillion-dollar manufacturing giant Lippert. By combining proven strategies and thought-provoking questions with a follow-along, interactive app, PurposePoint has designed the Purpose Summit Experience™ to help cinema attendees become better people in business and in life.
PurposePoint will join MetaMedia's revolutionary cloud-based network, which provides users with access to a variety of premium pre-recorded and live content from a number of content producers and distributors. Over the past year, MetaMedia delivered more than a hundred movies, premieres and fan events, including esports and concerts. These events include the recent Call of Duty Championship and concerts involving BTS, Bon Jovi, Florida Georgia Line, Radiohead side project The Smile and more.
“When we started this journey four years ago, we knew that the currency of the workplace was rapidly shifting; that while compensation will always matter, finding purpose and meaning in our work matters more now than it ever has before. Our greatest responsibility as leaders is who we help others become. It is for this reason that hundreds of leaders from around the world gathered at the Purpose Summit this past May at Notre Dame, to focus on how we can lead ourselves and lead others, so that we can lead impact where it matters most together. This film is one more step towards how we will turn the Great Resignation into the Great Restoration,” said Davin Salvagno, CEO & Founder of PurposePoint.”
MetaMedia is slated to deliver the film to theaters this September with private showings, followed by an October public release. For more information or to view the official trailer, please visit www.PurposeSummitExperience.com.
