MTD Systems Brings Expanded Product Line To ShoWest
TD Systems brings an expanded product offering to ShoWest. The MTDSystem monitors not only the digital projection and distribution chain but also point-of-sale, digital-signage, and all the other devices and systems that populate Cinema facilities. MTDSystems’s tools, applications, and services extract all critical data from these systems. These complex systems include a wide variety of devices from many different vendors. MTD monitoring unifies the data into a single presentation and a single alerting/reporting process.
Have you ever wondered ‘What is my server doing?’ or ’How much life is left on the projector lamps?’ MTDSystems provides an intuitive, graphical view of ALL your facilities from anywhere in the world. We present a comprehensive and logical enterprise, facility, and device view for operators, technicians, and management. "When we show the facility monitoring screens the most common response we get is: ‘You can show all that data…remotely?!’", said Dave Tansek, CEO of MTDSystems. "Most customers are surprised that so much data from their remote sites can be presented in such a compact and easily understandable way.” Within a theatre complex, personnel can see the status of each projector, each server, each point-of-sale terminal, each digital signage server, and each theatre system all from one screen. At the theatre-group-level, personnel can see the overall status of each theater complex and can drill in to see the same details as local personnel.
Technicians can read logs, track changes in usage, view system histories, and detect failures; all this can be accomplished from any remote location. Since MTDSystems is not aligned to any single vendor, the monitoring system will easily support mixed systems. The MTDSystem can monitor hundreds or thousands of parameters from each site, it will detect troubles or maintenance events, it will automatically analyze log files from the devices. MTD monitoring will then send alerts and trouble ticket information to your service provider and equipment manufacture. The MTDSystem even watches trends and correlates data to help locate trouble in its incipient stage allowing problems to be avoided or mitigated. It is a level of monitoring that will keep Digital Cinema Systems operating reliably and at their best, all while maximizing technical staff efficiency.
About MTD Systems:
MTD Systems specializes in facility and enterprise wide monitoring of complex, multi-vendor systems. These systems can be hard-to-monitor legacy systems as well as the newer IT based systems. MTD Systems focuses on remote monitoring, remote troubleshooting, complex hybrid system analysis, and consulting. We provide individual or centralized monitoring solutions for IT based distribution/broadcast/newsroom and Digital Cinema systems. As these systems become more complex and IT-oriented, Technical Support personnel require new tools. MTD Systems monitors each element of the system, tracks trends and continuously searches for failures. MTD Systems creates clear and concise views of hardware, software, and media.
