The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Founded in 1978 by Eastman Kodak VP Ken Mason, membership is composed of its four charter trade organizations - International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) - along with over 40 member companies, made up of trade organizations, motion picture studios, exhibition companies, manufacturers, technical consultants, and other industry stakeholders.
 




The EDCF is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation that aims to act as a "Forum" to discuss key issues surrounding Digital Cinema in Europe. CineAsia 2022 has been scheduled for Dec 5-8, 2022 in Bangkok.  Check links for more information.  The CineAsia trade show is where cinema exhibition and distribution professional come to do business and network. Neighborhood Cinema Group Newest AccessIT Digital Deployment Partner and Pre-Show Programming Customer

- AccessIT: Leveraging Divisional Customer Relationships -
Access Integrated Technologies, Inc. ("AccessIT") (NASDAQ:AIXD) today announced that Neighborhood Cinema Group ("NCG") will be the ninth chain to convert its 100 screens in eleven locations to digital cinema AccessIT's Theatre Command Center(TM) software and pre-show programming and Christie DLP Cinema(R) projectors. The completion of this contract with AccessIT's Digital Cinema Program (formerly named Christie/AIX) demonstrates AccessIT's ability to leverage existing division customers by signing them for additional lines of business.

NCG is the ninth chain and the third customer of AccessIT's Advertising Division to contract with AccessIT for deployment. The majority of the chain's screens reside in Michigan, augmented by locations in Indiana and one opening on May 4th in Tennessee.

Digital Cinema is the next step in continuing what we've started. AccessIT Digital Cinema is the industry-leading deployment program for digital cinema that provides the funding, operations and administration for the company's studio-supported 4,000-screen digital cinema rollout plan supported by major studios and independent distributors, among others -- and exhibitors who receive turnkey, Digital Cinema systems in conformance with DCI specifications, including AccessIT's unique Library Management Server(R) and Theatre Command Center(R) software, Christie DLP Cinema(R) projectors and Doremi's DCP2000 JPEG server.
