AccessIT to Receive Bravo Award for Digital Cinema during 3D-Focused Forum at Venice International Film Festival

Having installed majority of digital cinema systems in operation nationwide, company is key player in determining size of 3D rollout, which requires underlying digital platform
Access Integrated Technologies, Inc. ("AccessIT") (NASDAQ:AIXD) will receive the 2007 Bravo Award for its innovations in the digital cinema supply chain during the SMPTE D-Cinema International Forum at the Venice International Film Festival Sept. 5 in Venice, Italy.

The forum will focus on the production, distribution and exhibition of 3D, which requires conversion to a digital cinema system like those installed by AccessIT. The forum touts digital-cinema dependent 3D as an important future revenue source for theaters and refers to the financial opportunity as equaling “three times” that of regular feature films.

“With 3,000 of the approximate 3,500 digital cinema systems installed by AccessIT in the United States, the digital cinema pioneers are a key player in determining the size of the 3D rollout,” said Angelo D’Alessio, SMPTE Director. “Well over half of the 3D screens in the U.S. use the underlying AccessIT digital platform.”

AccessIT also provides the ongoing administration and support that ensures the 3D systems exhibitors have invested in are maintained and operational to a high degree of uptime reliability.

Chuck Viane, president, Distribution, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, said, “All of us at Disney join our colleagues in the industry in saluting AccessIT for their pioneering efforts with regard to digital cinema systems and the advancement of 3D cinema. They have been a key player in bringing this amazing new digital technology to theaters all over the world, and have made it possible for us to deliver a fantastic 3D motion picture experience to moviegoers. This is a very exciting time for Hollywood and AccessIT continues to lead the charge in this innovative new technological wave. They certainly deserve the Bravo Award for their fantastic efforts in setting the new standard in digital exhibition.”

“We appreciate this award and believe it further validates the tremendous value digital cinema offers theater operators and moviegoers” said Bud Mayo, chairman and CEO of AccessIT. “It is a credit to our outstanding team which has moved aggressively to implement the world’s only fully networked digital cinema deployment plan and has already installed more than 3,000.screens.”
