D&E Entertainment Roll Out Fall ‘07/2008 Digital Cinema Event Schedule

Leading Marketing and Branding Company Of Worldwide Digital Cinema Theatrical Premieres Connecting Consumers and Artists Via Groundbreaking Digital Format
D&E Entertainment (www.DandEntertainment.com), the Los Angeles based digital cinema/music marketing imprint is closing out 2007 as one of the industry’s most formidable forces in the marketing and branding of digital cinema events in the groundbreaking HD 5.1 format. In only two years, D&E has become a leader in mining innovative content solutions, offering an array of premier-quality marketing and promotion services for companies desiring to deliver the HD theatrical experience to customers around the globe.

Currently preparing one of the ‘crown jewel’ HD theatrical premieres of this or any year – Led Zeppelin’s groundbreaking movie ‘The Song Remains The Same,’ – the company is preparing a signature presentation worthy of the historic band for the movie’s multiple-city premiere on November 27th. On November 20th, Warner Home Video (WHV) will release a completely re-mastered and re-mixed version of Led Zeppelin’s famed concert film ‘The Song Remains The Same’ on DVD with all 16 song performances for the first time together on DVD and more than 40 minutes of extra material. The DVDs include never-before-released performance footage of “Over The Hills And Far Away” and “Celebration Day”; plus performances of “Misty Mountain Hop” and “The Ocean.” Special features also include a rare 1976 BBC interview with Robert Plant and Peter Grant; vintage TV footage from the infamous hotel robbery during the New York concert stand; a Cameron Crowe radio show and the original theatrical trailer.

Atlantic/Rhino Entertainment has also given The Song Remains The Same soundtrack the deluxe reissue treatment, with the band members overseeing the remixing and remastering of the original release. The new version of the soundtrack will also be available November 20 and includes six songs that were not on the original release -- “Black Dog,” “Over The Hills And Far Away,” “Misty Mountain Hop,” “Since I’ve Been Loving You,” “The Ocean,” and “Heartbreaker.”

D&E is also partnering with Guitar World Magazine, the world's best-selling authority on guitar playing and equipment, to celebrate the multi-city theatrical premiere of ‘The Song Remains The Same.’ Guitar World Magazine - a leading source of interviews, reviews, and other exciting features for guitar enthusiasts and music fans since 1980, is also aligning with D&E on their 2008 schedule of HD premieres and events. The two companies hope two continue to spread the word about how this exciting new technology is invigorating the repertoire of legacy artists and newer rock attractions, delivering the ultimate experience for music and movie fans around the globe.

D&E has been on the forefront of providing artists, record labels, music retailers, theatres, advertisers and the film and music communities with exciting HD strategic initiatives, including pre-show, theme-based, advertising and alternative content preparation and marketing, including a noted expertise in Marquee theatrical presentation.

The marketing company’s arsenal of captivating HD multiple city theatrical premieres for breakthrough and superstar artists include Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley, Duran Duran, Morrissey, Ramones, The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Slipknot and others.

Founded by respected entertainment executives Doug Kluthe and Evan Saxon – D&E is continuing to broaden both their expansive client base and range of deliverable content in the coming months, preparing a stunning fall 2007-2008 roll-out of projects which includes Led Zeppelin, Shakira, Rob Halford, and Bob Marley among others.

“We try to create additional excitement not only around the content, but making the entire experience unforgettable, bringing together legacy artists and their fans by using the most advanced technology available,” states Mr. Kluthe. Navigating a stunning roster of superstar artists via simultaneous/multiple city premieres, D&E has single-handedly created a franchise release window for entertainment companies and artists seeking an exclusive kick-off, whether live concert movie or documentary, DVD launch or breakthrough advertising campaign. “It truly is unlike any other experience,” states Mr. Saxon. ““The vision we’ve implemented at D&E, and the excitement about HD has opened entirely doors to a new platform of consumer engagement.” Rock fans recently experienced one of the most talked about movie/music premieres of 2007, with D&E’s flawless presentation of the acclaimed new Tom Petty documentary, ‘Runnin’ Down A Dream,’ which set a new industry standard in the realm of HD ‘event’ premieres.

Selected by Petty and his management to exclusively market and distribute the worldwide HD theatrical premiere of the film, the movie was directed by none other than legendary writer/director Peter Bogdanovich. D&E rose to the occasion, putting together a spectacular viewing and listening environment. ‘When it was time to organize the screenings, East End capitalized on D&E’s expertise…” stated Billboard Magazine, with Peter Bogdanovich himself noting: “To be able to premiere the film in an ‘event’ setting in the highest standard of HD was a special gift to rock and movie fans hungry for the authentic theatrical experience.”

Armed with a slate of visionary projects including Bob Marley, Smashing Pumpkins, Steve Miller Band and others for kick-off at the beginning of 2008, D&E sets its sights on expanding their strategic resources in the coming year to incorporate their extraordinary range of presentations, serving current and new clients in a diverse array of ventures and platforms. “We look to make our company a very productive marketing force for advertisers, retailers, gaming and extreme sports enthusiasts, even the political and social networking sector,” says Mr. Kluthe. Mr. Saxon seconds the notion: “The digital economy is growing at such an explosive rate, and cinema has always been one of the most innovative spaces for advertising. We aim to be on the forefront of opening additional revenue streams and marketing opportunities for our content creators and theatrical exhibitors. The resources we offer have the power to captivate entertainment fans like never before.”
