Qube Cinema, the leading developer of digital cinema solutions announced today that its Digital Cinema Mastering system, QubeMaster Pro has been selected by MyTherapy as the core part of their D-Cinema mastering facility.
MyTherapy is a London based digital cinema lab dedicated to the independent filmmaker. MyTherapy is shortly launching myfilmmaster.com, (www.myfilmmaster.com), a unique digital cinema mastering and distribution service designed to reach multiple digital screen networks in the world with the option of DCI-compliant D-Cinema masters, as well as VC-1, H.264 and MPEG-2 distribution and projection systems.
After an extensive consultation and testing process where many solutions were investigated, MyTherapy identified Qube as the most suitable and relevant technology to enable myfilmmaster.com to become a reality. This initiative will provide the independent filmmaker with flexible, multiplatform-enabled digital mastering and distribution capability.
"We are delighted to be working with Qube on this exciting project, which will transform the way Independent Cinema is delivered to multiple platforms," said Dado Valentic, managing director at Mytherapy in London. "Qube technology and its further development will play a key role in the move away from costly, time consuming digital cinema mastering to the one that is affordable to a small-scale independent release schedule."
Nigel Dennis, Head of European Business Development for Qube Cinema said “I am so pleased that MyTherapy have chosen QubeMaster. The flexibility, pre-processing and speed give them a real boost to their business, and allow them to provide the client with a huge array of possibilities from what source they provide, to how they manipulate the data, and finally to what medium they choose to produce their encode in. Virtually every eventuality is covered in the product.”
