The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. The EDCF is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation that aims to act as a "Forum" to discuss key issues surrounding Digital Cinema in Europe. The purpose of EDCF is to provide a basis of common understanding across all European territories of the business and technical matters of digital cinema.

CineEurope 2022, has been scheduled for June 20-23, 2022 in Barcelona.  CineEurope promises to bring you another year with the very best in exclusive studio screenings and product presentations, cinematic technologies and innovations and educational seminars to keep your business on top of industry trends.



ShowEast 2022 scheduled to be held in Miami from Oct 17-20, 2022 at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, features a range of exclusive product presentations and screenings from both Independent and Major Hollywood studios to help you make important programming decisions for the 4th quarter box office.  Powerhouse seminars offer valuable insight from top executives on the latest industry trends and concerns; while our EXPO experience offers delegates a glance at the latest and best technologies, entertainment, services, comforts, and conveniences to make their theatres must-attend destinations.  ShowEast’s International program draws a large contingency of Latin and South American delegates – more than any other convention of its kind. A one and a half day program dedicated to the latest content and concerns and within this rising region.



CineAsia 2022 has been scheduled for Dec 5-8, 2022 in Bangkok.  Check links for more information.  The CineAsia trade show is where cinema exhibition and distribution professional come to do business and network. JBL Introduces Next Generation Of ScreenArray® Series Digital Cinema Loudspeakers

The new ScreenArray loudspeakers feature new high-frequency drivers, new Optimized Aperture waveguides and improved, patented crossover design
Continuing to provide cinema exhibition venues and post-production facilities with unprecedented audio performance and advanced technology, JBL is introducing the second generation of its award-winning ScreenArray® digital cinema loudspeakers.
 
These “next generation” ScreenArray systems feature the new large-format 3-inch neodymium, titanium diaphragm, high-frequency compression driver for ultra high performance. This new high-frequency driver is coupled with the new patented high-frequency horn featuring Screen Spreading Compensation™ to correct for high-frequency dispersion through perforated screens.
 
The new low-frequency sections feature the patented Differential Drive™, Direct Cooled™, 15-inch woofers for improved power handling and reduced distortion. All of the new ScreenArray series models have new Optimized Aperture waveguides for ultra low distortion and extremely uniform frequency response. Each system has improved, patented, crossover design using the most advanced computer modeling.
 
The next generation of ScreenArray speakers consists of the 4732, 3732 and 3731 3-way systems (available in both triamplified and biamplified versions) and the 4722 and 3722 2-way speakers (available as both bi-amplified and fully passive systems).
 

The new JBL       ScreenArray series features five digital cinema loudspeaker models.
